Data Notice: Public Posts

In short

If you wrote a public post saying you want to buy or rent property — in a Telegram chat, a Facebook group, on Threads, Reddit or a property portal — PropBlaze may have seen it. We use such posts for one thing: to put you in touch with an agency that can help with exactly that request. You can have your post removed at any time, without an account and without giving a reason.

What we do with a post

• Read only what is public. We do not join private groups under false pretences, bypass logins or captchas, or collect private messages, friend lists or photographs of people.
• Keep one post per person. We do not build a profile of you across platforms and do not combine your post with other data about you.
• Ask before introducing. We may send you one short message asking whether your request is still current. If you say no or do not answer, we do not write again.
• Pass the request to one agency. A request goes to a single partner agency working in the city you named, not to a list. Contact details you sent us directly are shared only after you agree to the introduction.
• No automated decisions about you. Software sorts posts by topic and city; no decision with legal or similar effect is made about you.
• No selling of data. We do not sell or publish personal data. Public pages on our site show requests without names or contact details.

Legal basis: legitimate interest

We rely on legitimate interest under GDPR Article 6(1)(f). Before relying on it we carried out the three-part assessment the regulation requires:

• Purpose. Helping a person who asked publicly for help finding property get an answer from a relevant agency, and running a business that does this.
• Necessity. We cannot reach these people otherwise: they asked in public, not through us. We take only the post and what is needed to route it — no more.
• Balance. The author chose to publish the request to strangers and expects replies from people who can help. The data is limited to one post, kept for 90 days, never sold, and removed on request without justification. We judge that these safeguards keep the impact on the person low and in line with what they would reasonably expect.

You have the right to object to this processing at any time (Article 21). If you object, we delete the post and do not collect it again.

You can ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, restrict or object to processing, and lodge a complaint with your data-protection authority. Full details are in our Privacy Policy and GDPR statement. We reply within 30 days; removal requests are handled within 24 hours.
